Story

Akifusa and his wife, Shibano, share a deep affection in their quiet village, but their marriage is shadowed by their inability to conceive. The cause of their childlessness lies with Akifusa, leaving them to face a future that feels increasingly barren despite their love.

Their lives take an unexpected turn when they welcome Genta, a young apprentice craftsman, into their home. Genta's polite demeanor and diligent help around the house introduce a new dynamic. As Genta, with his youthful vitality, begins to show a subtle admiration for Shibano, Akifusa finds himself contemplating a provocative desire: to witness his wife's composed facade crumble under the attention of another man.
